Description
A rafting tour in Soča Valley is a must for all nature-loving, adventurous souls, as it winds through lush green nature, high mountain peaks, clean turquoise water, and rich biodiversity. While rafting on Soča, you can expect to see all this beauty and even more! It’s time to create new memories on wild rapids!
The van stops in Srpenica, which is a 30-minute drive from the village of Soča. After you put on your professional equipment, the guide takes you through the safety procedures and teaches you how to paddle. Each boat can hold up to eight people, plus one guide, so be sure to invite your friends! In the 1.5 hours you spend on the Soča River, you paddle an eight-kilometer route.
Now, let’s talk about rapids! The first part of the rafting trip is the easiest part, when you’re learning about the boat and getting a feel for the paddles. We can juice up this part with some jumping and swimming!
Soon, you get to the second part of the river, which is where things get serious! The rapids here become technically more advanced, as the banks of the Soča start to narrow and the rapids get wilder! Have no fear, however; your skilful guide always helps you avoid tricky rocks.
Your shared time in a raft on Soča ends in the small village of Trnovo ob Soči. Rafting on Soča is something you simply must experience while visiting Soča Valley!
